Tejix, a leading firm specialising in designing, installing, and maintaining high-end audio/video control and lighting systems, has announced the appointment of Ryutaro Suzuki, who joins the company in Japan.
A seasoned lighting designer, he has played a role in illuminating many shows and iconic buildings. He spent several years working behind the scenes on major productions at a top Tokyo theme park, where he developed his technical skills and artistic intuition.
Technical skills & a sense of colour
His Senpai, Mayumi Saegusa, speaks about the appointment:
“Ryu is a thoughtful engineer who always looks for simpler, more intuitive solutions. He combines strong technical skills with a refined sense of color and design.”
A statement from Tejix says: "We’re delighted to welcome Ryutaro to Tejix and look forward to seeing the light he’ll bring to our upcoming projects."
This summer, Tejix welcomed Jean-Jacques Goudard as its new technical coordinator. Goudard spent 25 years at Walt Disney Imagineering, helping to create many of Europe’s most cherished attractions. His broad experience, keen eye for detail, and passion for immersive environments reflect the Tejix spirit.
The founders of Tejix have spent decades designing and installing everything that creates sounds, lights, and visuals at some of the world’s most popular attractions. Established in 2011, the company has built extensive experience and uses its expertise to support parks of all sizes.
Focused entirely on the theme park industry, the company collaborates with leading operators to create memorable guest experiences and manages every project phase, from initial concept to staff training.
Last year, the firm was named in the credits list for the Thea-Award-winning Fantasy Springs, Tokyo DisneySea’s new themed port. Opened in June 2024, it is inspired by magical springs leading to a Disney fantasy world. It includes three areas, Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Never Land, as well as the Fantasy Springs Hotel.
