She worked for Farah Experiences for over seven years, rising to the role of general manager at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi & head of Yas Island Theme Parks & Attractions. In 2021 she moved to AAT Kings to work as general manager of operations & experiences.
Before leaving Farah Experiences, Sammut was given responsibility for the wider cluster of theme parks at Yas Island which also includes Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. An IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive (ICAE), Sammut began her career in theme park management at Australia’s Wonderland. She then moved to the Sydney Tower Observatory before spending 10 years with Village Roadshow Theme Parks at Warner Bros Movie World, Sea World Australia and Raging Waters Sydney, formerly Wet’n’Wild Sydney.
Speaking to blooloop in 2020, she said:
“Having been an operator for many years, I have a deep understanding of how attractions deliver the experience. For instance, the things that they need, the challenges that they face, and how the delivery and the experience look from the guests’ perspective.”
Reflecting on her introduction Alton Towers Resort she said: “It is such a unique theme park, steeped in history, which brings new perspectives and exciting operational challenges which in turn are helping create exciting, new opportunities for the Resort. It has an iconic following and one which I have loved getting to understand more about, whilst ensuring we introduce new products and experiences to grow the market appeal even further.”
