Daniel Cuffe is vice president and general manager of Universal Kids Resort, Universal Destinations & Experiences’ first-ever family theme park. Located in Frisco, Texas, the new destination is a unique concept from Universal. The company says the park will be unlike any other in the world and will have a “completely different look, feel and scale than Universal’s existing parks and will appeal to a new audience for the brand”.
Universal Kids Resort will include a 300-room themed hotel and a theme park featuring lands inspired by Universal’s iconic brands, characters and stories. The park will offer family-friendly attractions, interactive entertainment, unique merchandise, F&B outlets and character experiences.
Daniel Cuffe has been with Universal Destinations & Experiences for the past seven years, previously working at Universal Beijing Resort. Prior to that, he served as director of park operations for Dubai Parks & Resorts, and as director of attractions at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. Before joining RWS, Cuffe worked in various roles at Universal Orlando Resort.
