Danielle Kramer Executive Vice President RWS

Danielle Kramer has been working in the theme park and entertainment industry for 26 years and joined RWS in 2010 following roles as a performer and choreographer in theme parks.

She was appointed executive vice president of RWS in 2022, and her wealth of experience, innovative approach and creativity ensure the relevance of the company’s offerings in an evolving environment.

When RWS (formerly known as Entertainment Group) and its subsidiaries, ted, JRA and ARC (formerly known as Binder Casting), rebranded as RWS Global, Kramer told blooloop: “The diversity amongst our subsidiaries, our teams and our offerings is what makes RWS Global special. It’s the thread that ties us all together and creates unmatched excellence in our industry.”

“Diversity, not just in this context, but in every way, is important to us. It is way more than a box to check – diversity is core to the RWS Global culture. We value it, promote it, protect it and hire for it.”

She has directed projects from conception to completion for clients such as Warner Bros. World, Mattel, Hersheypark, Six Flags, CBS, and Westfield Properties. Kramer led the Emmy Award-winning production Macy’s Stars on Broadway, as well as many IAAPA Brass Ring Award-winning productions. She has also advocated for the development of innovative location-based entertainment shows. Such projects include Bob the Builder Live, Survivor Live, Rock Band Live, and Thomas.

One person who nominated Kramer said: “Danielle has played an integral part in changing the way people view entertainment in travel and leisure. In addition to large-scale productions, interactive games and experiences and character development, Danielle has transformed entire parks, zoos, retail centres and other visitor destinations into Halloween, holiday, spring and other themed experiences. Her work has set new standards for immersive experiences that engage all five senses, leaving guests with an emotional souvenir takeaway.”

Kramer joined the IAAPA Entertainment Committee in 2020 and delivers Entertainment Professionals Network roundtable sessions which support young professionals interested in learning more about creating and presenting meaningful events and experiences. She has also led the production of conferences, trade shows, and award ceremonies including the Brass Ring Awards and the TEA’s Thea Awards, and directed the RWS Fun Crew at the IAAPA Expos in 2021 and 2022.
