Diego Cid is a senior creative director at Scruffy Dog Creative Group, a leading creative design and delivery company. He plays a pivotal role in the group’s Barcelona design studio, guiding and orchestrating design teams across an expansive spectrum of projects. His influence extends from theme parks, hotels and resorts to family entertainment centres, museum exhibits, and immersive experiences.
Cid oversees the design and development of Scruffy Dog’s themed endeavours across the globe. With responsibilities extending from the development of conceptual all the way through to the detailed design stage, his artistic acumen combined with his strategic mindset has been instrumental in shaping Scruffy Dog’s projects into captivating realities that resonate with audiences worldwide.
Originally from Madrid, Cid developed an academic foundation with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He then further honed his expertise as a Scenic Artist, a journey that led him to the United States where he worked with companies like Disney, Warner Bros. and Nickelodeon. He also led the art team at Immersive Planet for several years, participating in projects like Eurasia Park in Turkey, the Air and Space Museum in Beijing and the Smart City in Dubai
