Eric Goodman serves as a senior producer at Universal Creative, the branch of Universal Parks & Resorts dedicated to crafting immersive theme park attractions.
In this position, Goodman is instrumental in overseeing the conceptualisation, design, and execution of themed experiences, collaborating closely with artists, engineers, and project managers to realise intricate ideas. His responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects adhere to the creative vision and technical standards expected in Universal’s attractions. Roles like his require a deep understanding of both storytelling and complex engineering solutions.
Eric began his Walt Disney World career as an on-stage talent at Disney MGM Studios, charming audiences as the host of the Indiana Jones Stunt Show and The Price is Right. He has also worked on projects at Epcot and later implemented interactive queues at Magic Kingdom to support Magic Bands, including the popular Hitchhiking Ghosts queue at The Haunted Mansion. Subsequently, Eric was promoted to Glendale to produce the Castle walkthrough at Shanghai Disneyland, and he later became a portfolio executive for Walt Disney World, guiding projects through the complex development process.
He then joined Hasbro LBE to produce Transformers, Nerf, and other brand experiences globally.
Today, he’s a producer on the most highly anticipated new mega-dark-ride experience inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe, set to open in 2025, thanks to Eric’s skill as a Creative Producer.
“Eric is so truly great at making incredible things happen; he just makes it look easy,” said one nominator. “Eric Goodman has delivered successful projects at the top of our industry for decades. His humility and kind manner have kept him from the accolades he richly deserves, but for all he’s done and all he is doing, he is, without a doubt, a top Theme Park influencer.”
