Greg Yong is group CEO of Coast Entertainment Holdings, formerly Ardent Leisure. Coast Entertainment is one of Australia’s most successful owners and operators of leisure assets, including the Dreamworld theme park and WhiteWater World water park on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
Yong was promoted to group CEO in 2022 after serving as CEO of theme parks and attractions at the company. “Since being appointed as theme parks and attractions CEO in April 2021, Greg has shown outstanding leadership and is highly regarded by the board and all of the team members he leads,” said board chairman Gary Weiss.
Intamin, a creator of record-breaking amusement rides, is creating a new thrill ride called ‘King Claw’ for Dreamworld. Yong said: “Our vision for King Claw is to elevate the guest experience to heights we’ve never reached before – literally and figuratively.
“This new attraction will set a new standard for thrill rides at Dreamworld, offering a heart-pounding adventure that our guests will talk about for years to come.
