Tech firm providing two services to assist leading attraction

accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider, has signed a three-year partnership with Canadian amusement venue Calaway Park.

The deal will see the publically-listed firm upgrade the operator’s ticketing operations with its accesso Passport eCommerce ticketing suite and accesso Siriusware POS ticketing solution.

Calaway Park is located in the Canadian Rockies, operating over thirty family-friendly rides between May and October each year. Many generations of guests have enjoyed the attraction over four decades, which is now Western Canada’s largest outdoor family amusement park.

Enhanced ticketing experience

accesso will be providing Calaway Park with two new products this year.

The first, accesso Passport eCommerce ticketing suite, enables guests with an easy-to-use retail experience that can be accessed on desktop, tablet or mobile devices. Operators can take advantage of personalised up-and cross-sell opportunities, ensuring each visitor has access to everything they may need, such as entertainment tickets, dining reservations and parking vouchers.

Complementing the ticketing suite, accesso Siriusware provides a comprehensive solution for POS requirements across venues and attractions. Operators are given a wider view of guest purchasing behaviour on one platform, such as retail purchases and catering orders, removing the requirement for numerous systems and databases.

Exciting partnership

Management of accesso and Calaway are anticipating the new system will be a great success for both companies.

Steve Brown, accesso CEO says “Calaway Park has been delivering on the mission to provide its guests with ‘worry-free adventures’ for nearly 40 years. Through this partnership, we look forward to providing them with the experience-enhancing technology they need to continue on with that promise for years to come.”

Bob Williams, Calaway Park general manager adds “At Calaway Park, it’s all about family fun and that starts during the trip planning process. Whether a guest is purchasing a season pass to visit us multiple times a season or is purchasing a one-day ticket for a special trip, the purchase process should be easy, intuitive and enjoyable. We are excited to partner with Accesso to provide this experience to our valued guests.”

Both systems are planned to be in place at Calaway Park by the end of this month.
