accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider for attractions worldwide, has been selected as the guest experience technology provider for the Qiddiya giga-project in Saudi Arabia.

Situated southwest of Riyadh, Qiddiya City is poised to become the centrepiece of entertainment, sports, and cultural experiences in the Kingdom, covering more than 300 square kilometers. As a vital component of Saudi Vision 2030, Qiddiya will play a significant role in diversifying the nation’s economy, as well as enhancing the entertainment, sports, and cultural sectors.

“Qiddiya sought a top-tier partner to provide ticketing solutions for our planned attractions, beginning with Six Flags Qiddiya and Aquarabia, and we believe accesso’s extensive global experience with leading entertainment operators will be instrumental in achieving our long-term vision,” says Qiddiya CTO Abdulrahman Al-Ali.

“We have great expectations for this partnership, as it serves as a key foundation for our success.”

Ticketing and more

accesso is set to roll out its cutting-edge ticketing and visitor management solution, accesso Horizon, throughout Qiddiya’s wide range of attractions. This includes the much-anticipated Six Flags Qiddiya, featuring the world’s longest, fastest, and tallest roller coaster, as well as Aquarabia, Saudi Arabia’s largest water theme park.

accesso Horizon will act as the backbone technology for the entire Qiddiya portfolio, facilitating a seamless, world-class guest experience from online ticket purchases to enjoying onsite activities throughout the property.

“We are proud to work with Qiddiya on this exciting and visionary project,” says accesso CEO Steve Brown. “With the accesso Horizon solution, Qiddiya City will have the future-proof tools to shape and deliver stellar experiences to visitors, setting new standards for entertainment excellence in the region.”

With a fully integrated platform, advanced business logic, and a wide range of features, accesso Horizon will support Qiddiya City in scaling as new assets are introduced.

Additionally, this solution will facilitate the management of all benefits, services, and entitlements available to guests through a single platform, designed to be the core of the entire management ecosystem. It also provides open APIs for seamless integration with technology partners.

Last month, accesso announced the appointment of Lee Cowie as its chief operating officer. Cowie has over 15 years of experience as a senior international executive, focusing on digital transformation, operational strategy, and technology-driven initiatives.
