Adirondack Studios welcomes Annabella Colletti as VP of business operations

News
Annabella Colletti VP of business operations ADKS

Adirondack Studios (ADKS), a company that provides creative solutions for designers, artists, producers, and owners in the themed entertainment industry, has appointed Annabella Colletti to the newly established position of VP of business operations. Joining the executive leadership team, Colletti will play a key role as ADKS celebrates its 50th anniversary and reviews its organisational structure for a successful future.

With over 20 years of experience as a strategy and operations leader in the entertainment sector, Colletti has developed a strong track record in building effective teams, promoting cross-functional collaboration, and steering large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects. Her background covers the art departments of film and television, extending to corporate management, supported by an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Throughout her career, she has successfully managed significant, multi-year projects for clients such as SeaWorld and Princess Cruises. In her most recent role as VP of Operations at In Motion Entertainment, Colletti fostered the company’s growth through strategic infrastructure enhancements and optimised operations.

Strengthening departments and processes

At ADKS, Colletti will lead essential operational departments aimed at fostering internal excellence, such as human resources, information technology, contract administration, and facilities. Additionally, she will enhance workflows and processes across these departments to boost overall efficiency and support the company’s strategic growth, ensuring that its internal operations align with its long-term objectives.

By promoting cross-departmental collaboration, she aims to cultivate a unified internal framework that encourages innovative solutions while empowering teams to deliver top-quality projects.

“I’m thrilled to join a globally renowned company like Adirondack Studios at such an important time in its history, where operational excellence is essential to supporting the studios’ growth and creative vision,” says Colletti. “In my new role, I’m eager to strengthen and develop our departments and processes so teams can focus on imagination over administration.”

“When we announced our yearlong 50th Anniversary celebration a few weeks ago, I mentioned that we were engaging in a number of initiatives to future proof our company for our next phase of growth, and hiring Annabella is the perfect example of that,” says Michael Blau, ADKS president and principal.

“Her MBA degree, her experience working in multiple business sectors from Marketing to Design to Finance, and her systems and solutions mindset make her the natural choice for this new and evolving executive role.”

Members of the Adirondack Studios team will be at IAAPA Expo 2024 from 18 – 22 November 18-22, 2024. Attendees can email Kate Garrity, executive assistant, to book a meeting, or email Raylen Farries to schedule a tour of the company’s Orlando production facility.

This summer, Adirondack Studios shared details of its work for local community attractions in Florida.
