Animax Designs, a specialist in animatronics and interactive characters, recently promoted Angie Chadwick to Director of Financial Operations.
With over 20 years of finance and accounting experience, Chadwick joined the company in January 2019 as Accounting Manager, responsible for all areas of finance and office administration spanning cost accounting, treasury, internal controls, contract negotiation, financial reporting, and business operations.
Under Chadwick’s leadership, the accounting and finance structure has grown from a single individual to a 4-person team, to support the financial strategy for the growing business. According to the company, Chadwick has increased efficiency, enhanced the financial processes and grown the bottom line.
“Over the last 30 years since I founded Animax Designs, I have personally focused on key financial aspects of the business such as budgeting, forecasting, managing our banking relationships, and setting financial strategy,” said Animax President and CEO, Chuck Fawcett.
“Angie, having been with Animax for only 11 short months, quickly showed me that she was overqualified for the role of Accounting Manager. I am excited to elevate her into this newly created and vitally important position at Animax where she will take on strategic financial responsibilities so that I can focus more on exciting growth opportunities.”
Animax has grown the team considerably in the past year, adding a new technical design team led by Chris Lee, as well as welcoming Steve Anderson as VP of Operations.
