Guests will see beneath rides and visit secret tunnels

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is introducing a new attraction for 2025, giving guests the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the UK theme park.

In small guided groups, visitors will explore some of Pleasure Beach’s lesser-known areas such as wardrobe, below rides, inaccessible zones, and secret tunnels beneath the park.

Guests on these exclusive tours will also hear from staff, learn about Pleasure Beach‘s history, and receive F&B and a special certificate.

CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort, Amanda Thompson, said: “We’re offering guests the exciting opportunity to see our park like never before.

“We’re pulling back the curtains and taking down the wall so that you can have a sneak peek into life here at Pleasure Beach, and see behind the scenes of some of your favourite rides and attractions.”

The tours, which cost £35 per person, are limited to a handful of slots across three days (12, 14 and 19 March). They can be booked here.

“We’re really looking forward to an exciting 2025 season, and we’re excited to add this immersive, insider experience to our line-up this year,” Thompson added.

In more news, Pleasure Beach is reimagining and rebranding its iconic Ice Blast ride, which will reopen this year as Launch Pad. The attraction has also been given a new pressure cylinder to transform the ride experience, thrusting riders with even more force.

Karl Murphy, director of engineering at Pleasure Beach Resort, said: “A new cylinder might not sound much on paper, but it will make a huge difference in terms of the ride experience.”

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is home to world-class attractions like the Big One coaster, the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land, and the award-winning Valhalla dark ride.

The park is preparing to open its Nickelodeon Land for half term, from 15 February until 23 February. The rest of the park opens on 1 March for the 2025 season, which runs until November.
