Brogent Technologies Inc., a leading manufacturer of media-based attractions, has announced a new collaboration with Toho Co., Ltd., a leading entertainment company in Japan, to deliver Godzilla The Ride, a brand-new flying theatre film experience themed around Godzilla.
Slated to debut globally at Brogent’s i-Ride flying theatre locations, including major theme parks and entertainment hubs, in the summer of 2025, this attraction promises to take audiences on an incredible, immersive adventure into the Godzilla universe.
Takashi Yamazaki, who won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for “Godzilla Minus One,” will write, direct, and produce Godzilla The Ride. Renowned for his innovative visual storytelling and dedication to technical precision, Yamazaki adds a new level of quality to the project.
An immersive Godzilla adventure
Following the success and high production values of his first Godzilla ride, Godzilla the Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate Battle, now at Seibuen Amusement Park in Japan, the new ride film is set to offer an extraordinary flying experience for King of the Monsters fans, with intricate visual effects.
“I am thrilled to return to Godzilla’s world from the passenger seat,” says Yamazaki. “What powerful adversaries will emerge? Where will this ride take us next? As a ride enthusiast, I eagerly anticipate my first experience and am working closely with our team to create the most exhilarating and immersive Godzilla adventure.”
By incorporating Godzilla The Ride into Brogent’s IP portfolio, the company strengthens its position as a leader in immersive attractions while providing theme park and flying theatre operators a distinctive chance to enhance their entertainment offerings.
As Japanese anime gains global popularity and the desire for immersive, IP-based attractions increases, this partnership promises a high-quality experience designed to engage audiences around the globe, ensuring world-class content that enriches the guest experience and offers lasting value to Brogent’s collaborative partners.
Last year, Brogent entered into a new collaboration with Niagara Parks to launch an innovative flying theatre attraction in 2025.
