Walt Disney World is rumoured to be planning to build a cable car system, after submittinga proposalto the South Florida Water Management District.
The plans, which were submitted by Disney-controlled government agency Reedy Creek Improvement District, show buildings including an elevated 100 feet V shaped structure.Theme part enthusiasts on the WDWMagic.com website are speculating the work could be for agondola lift.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that former Disney executive Duncan Dickson saidexpanding the current monorail would be far more costly than the proposed cable car system: “anything you can do to get people off the roads is probably pretty intelligent."
