ETF Ride Systems, a leading ride designer and manufacturer, has announced upcoming projects as it celebrates 25 years in the attractions industry.
The company was founded in 1998 and has become a world leader in trackless dark rides and cutting-edge ride solutions. ETF Ride Systems is part of the ETF Group which was established in 1951, and prior to 1998, the firm had been indirectly active in the attractions industry for a number of years.
25 years later, the company continues to push the boundaries of entertainment and innovation for its projects across the globe and has contributed to the growth of the theme park industry. The company’s dedication to quality, safety, and innovation has solidified its position as a reliable partner to theme parks, FECs, and museums.
Expansion in Europe
ETF Ride Systems is developing several new projects for imminent launch. A new ride in central Las Vegas is planned for later this year, with rides in England and Germany, among others, will see the firm expand its activities in Europe during 2024.
A key feature of the firm’s projects is the longevity of the rides. The firm is currently undertaking extensive refurbishments on two of its oldest and most loved rides, integrating cutting-edge technology with the classic ride experiences.
Ruud Koppens, president of ETF Ride Systems, says: “Reaching 25 years in this industry is a significant achievement, and it’s a testament to the hard work, passion, and innovation of our team. We are excited about the future and the opportunity to continue creating unforgettable memories for guests around the world.”
ETF Ride Systems recently announced that it will be sharing information on a selection of its latest projects at IAAPA Expo Europe in Vienna. Representatives from ETF Ride Systems will be at booth A-1917, and delegates can find out more about rides including Volkanu, Tiki Splash Roulette, Maus au Chocolat, and the firm’s record-breaking ride at Grotte Cosquer.
