Revolutionised app includes new features such as My Pass and is available for iOS and Android

Fotosmile, a family-run photo and video solutions company from Italy, has launched its new revolutionised app, available for iOS and Android devices. The latest version of the Fotosmile app is more user-friendly than ever and has been designed to be as intuitive as possible.

With the app, visitors can simply scan a QR to immediately access the content that they have purchased from one of Fotosmile’s authorised partners, whether it is a theme park, museum or other tourist attraction. They can easily buy photos and videos of their day out and then access the digital version through a unique code on their purchase ticket.

New My Pass feature

Visitors to some of the company’s partner attractions can also enjoy the new daily or seasonal My Pass feature. This gives them a unique code, allowing them to request that their content is sent directly to their pass instead of buying photos or videos after every ride or attraction, for a more streamlined experience.

In addition to this, Fotosmile has ensured that its photo storage system is fully GDPR compliant, meaning that the company is completely up to date on privacy regulations/data protection laws.

“Last year we decided to give Fotosmile a brand-new look, by revolutionizing our brand identity: we changed our logo and renewed our website and social media platforms,” says the company.

“We were planning the release of this new app for months and are very proud and happy with the outcome. The Fotosmile app is now consistent with the whole brand image; this helps create customer engagement, since the final user recognizes and can associate the brand with a straightforward look.”

The recently-rebranded technology firm has provided its expertise to the attraction industry for many years. Earlier this year, it reported seeing increased interest in its themed automatic photo booths, which are utilised by clients including Merlin Entertainments.
