Described by Hersheypark as a ‘coaster for the senses’, Jolly Rancher Remix offers a ‘flavour ride’ through a ‘flavour tunnel’.

Hersheypark in Pennsylvania is opening its new Jolly Rancher-themed rides, the Jolly Rancher Remix roller coaster and Mix’d Flavored By Jolly Rancher family attraction, on 28 May.

Described by Hersheypark as a ‘coaster for the senses’, Jolly Rancher Remix offers a ‘flavour ride’ through a ‘flavour tunnel’. It features music, lights and scents inspired by Jolly Rancher flavours.

The boomerang coaster, which is one of 15 roller coasters at Hersheypark, features six inversions in 90 seconds. Each ride is different, with guests enjoying a unique sensory experience.

Mix’d Flavored By Jolly Rancher, located adjacent to the Jolly Rancher Remix and near the Storm Runner coaster, is a family-friendly ride where guests spin 360 degrees. The attraction offers lifts, drops and incredible views.

Hersheypark is a 121-acre theme park with more than 70 attractions, from thrilling coasters to family rides. The $150m Hershey’s Chocolatetown expansion launched at the park in 2020.

The 23-acre land marked the largest investment in Hershey’s history. It is home to Candymonium, the tallest, fastest, and longest coaster at Hersheypark.

“We are the only amusement park in the world focused on fun and chocolate,” Hersheypark CEO John Lawn told blooloop.

“Over the past 110 years, Mr Hershey’s modest plans for picnic grounds have transformed into a world-class family amusement park. One that draws guests from across the country.”

Discussing the new land, Lawn said: “We wanted to design an area for our guests that represents the place where fun meets chocolate in more ways than ever before, with 15 new experiences for our guests to enjoy for years to come.”
