Mobaro, a provider of online maintenance and safety solutions, has announced a new partnership with DMT, a TÜV NORD GROUP company, to enable amusement parks to manage ride maintenance more quickly, safely, and efficiently.
The initial deployment of the integrated solution is taking place at Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Rövershagen. Here, operators can now unify real-time ride monitoring with digital maintenance workflows, marking a new chapter in how technologies tailored to the attractions sector can influence the future of ride safety and efficiency.
By integrating DMT RideGuard, an AI-powered system for real-time ride condition monitoring, into Mobaro’s leading platform for digital maintenance and inspections, amusement parks can now combine essential safety data with their regular maintenance and inspection routines. This innovation helps operators save time and resources while maintaining optimal safety standards.
Empowering operators
Amusement parks face the ongoing challenge of keeping rides safe and operational amid increasing complexity. RideGuard provides instant insights into anomalies through advanced IoT sensors and AI data analysis. Meanwhile, Mobaro ensures that findings are promptly documented, tracked, and addressed in a single system.
“We see this integration as an important step forward for our industry,” says Christoffer W. Borup, co-CEO of Mobaro.
“By combining Mobaro’s proven platform for inspections and maintenance with DMT’s advanced ride monitoring technology, we provide operators with strong tools to manage safety in a proactive and data-driven way. For us, it’s about empowering amusement parks to spend less time on administration and more time delivering safe, memorable experiences for their guests.”
The first park to adopt the integrated solution is Karls Erlebnis-Dorf in Rövershagen, which previously used the two systems independently. Now, DMT RideGuard data seamlessly transfers into the Mobaro platform without any extra setup or effort.
Maximilian Mairinger, head of experience and events at Karls Erlebnis-Dorf, says: “For us as an operator, the safety of our guests is our top priority. With the integration of DMT RideGuard into the Mobaro software, we can seamlessly monitor the condition of our rides and save time and effort in monitoring and maintenance.”
At IAAPA Expo Europe 2025 in Barcelona from 23 – 25 September, Mobaro will present the integrated solution at its booth, and DMT will do so at the TÜV NORD GROUP booth.
Mobaro recently announced the strengthening of its presence in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH), with membership in The Association of German Leisure Parks and Leisure Companies (VDFU) and the appointment of a new representative for the region.
