Paramount IP to inspire new rides and entertainment

Leisure park operator Parques Reunidos has expanded its partnership with entertainment company Paramount to bring new experiences to the former’s portfolio.

Parques Reunidos is one of the world’s largest and fastest growing theme park operators. Its sites include Movie Park Germany and Parque Warner Madrid in Spain.

Through the agreement, Parques Reunidos will expand Paramount content in its parks, providing thrilling rides, interactive experiences and entertainment featuring the company’s most popular characters.

“This collaboration will allow our visitors to enjoy more of Paramount’s characters and franchises and will enable Parques Reunidos to launch strategic projects in a more agile way to evolve our value proposition,” said Pascal Ferracci, CEO of Parques Reunidos.

Paramount experiences have already been seen in Parques Reunidos attractions, including last year’s Halloween maze inspired by A Quiet Place at Movie Park Germany.

Also, a new Nickelodeon Land is opening this month at Mirabilandia in Italy. This includes attractions inspired by brands like SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

New Paramount experiences

Patricio Ramos, chief transformation officer of Parques Reunidos, said: “We have been excited to bring this new partnership to life through two very relevant investments: A Quiet Place maze at Movie Park Germany opened this past Halloween season and offered our visitors an immersive experience based on the very popular Paramount franchise.

“The new Nickelodeon area at Mirabilandia, Italy represents a major improvement to the value proposition for families with kids.

“These are the first two of a long list of investments to bring this long-term agreement to life.”
