The world’s first Peppa Pig Theme Park to feature interactive rides, themed play areas, character shows and ‘muddy puddles’.

The Peppa Pig Theme Park, currently under construction in Florida, has shared a first look at Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster ahead of the park’s official opening on February 24, 2022.

Located adjacent to Legoland Florida Resort, the world’s first Peppa Pig Theme Park will feature interactive rides, themed play areas, character shows, an indoor cinema, and loads of ‘muddy puddles’.

Designed to be the ultimate theme park for preschoolers, the Peppa Pig Theme Park will include a family-friendly coaster experience for children called Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster.

First coaster experience for kids

“On Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster, your family can take your day of fun to a whole new level,” said Keith Carr, director of design and construction, in the preview video.

“Board Daddy Pig’s shiny car and get ready to weave around Mr Bull’s digging site along Daddy Pig’s speedy shortcut,” Carr added.

“This is the perfect ‘my first roller coaster’ experience for your brave little piggies. And guess what, while you’re waiting to board the ride, you and your family can take a tour of Peppa’s house.”

“I know you can’t wait to see inside, but we have a lot more work to do before it’s ready for Peppa and her family to move in,” said Kelly Hornick, senior public relations manager at Legoland Florida.

“When we open on February 24, 2022, you’ll get to see it all though.”

Opening as a Certified Autism Center (CAC), the Peppa Pig Theme Park will offer accessible ride vehicles and attractions. In addition to the coaster, rides include Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride and Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride.

In China, Merlin and Hasbro are developing the world’s first Peppa Pig Resort. Mark Fisher, Merlin’s chief development officer, said the resort is “set to be a must-visit destination for both domestic visitors and international tourists”.
