Leading provider of thrill rides, Ride Entertainment is partnering ZiXand Intermark Ride Group to take their Skycoaster® attraction to Mexico, Central and South America.
The towering ride is already a hit with thrill-seekers at close to 100 locations in 6 continents.
“Skycoaster® has seen a rejuvenation in popularity under Ride Entertainments decade-long ownership, ” reports Adam Sandy, Ride Entertainment’s Chief Business Development Officer.
Two new Skycoasters® opened in Mexico in 2015 at Six Flags Mexico and El Rollo Waterpark. Sandy believes there is a market for extreme thrills in the region which is currently not being met.
“The ZiX and Intermark partnership was a natural choice for us because of these company’s strong ties to these markets, ” confirms Mark Rosenzweig, Managing Director of Skycoaster®.
Since the ride’s initial launch in1992, guests around the world have enjoyed 30 million Skycoaster® ‘flights’. Florida boasts the tallest version of the attraction at a jaw-dropping 300ft.
