News
six flags fright fest trick r treat

RWS Global, a leading producer of live experiences, produces 40 haunts worldwide, from concept and creative development to casting, production, operations, and management. This Halloween season, the firm elevated experiences for big names such as Six Flags, NBCUniversal, Parque Warner, and more, making it not just the largest producer of live, in-person entertainment but also one of the largest haunt producers in the world.

RWS Global worked with partners to use captivating and exciting intellectual property throughout the spooky season, turning well-known horror properties into immersive experiences. In addition to creating haunting experiences, the company also oversees the design of costumes, décor, and Halloween-themed performances and experiences for a range of programming at theme parks in the US and abroad.

“As one of the largest producers of horrifying chills and thrills, RWS Global leveraged our unique expertise to deliver premium spooky experiences to guests around the globe for another terrifying Halloween season,” says Ryan Stana, chairman and CEO of RWS Global. “We are honored to once again work alongside some of the biggest brands in the world to create unforgettable haunts meant to delight horror enthusiasts everywhere.”

Spooky sessions at Six Flags and more

As the exclusive creative and production partner for Six Flags and its studio partners, RWS Global brought beloved films and television series to life at six amusement parks throughout the US for the annual Fright Fest Extreme.

Horror fans enter a world at each park where terrifying monsters from iconic horror brands, such as the SAW franchise from Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures, Stranger Things and Army of the Dead on Netflix, The Conjuring, Annabelle, and The Nun from Warner Bros. Discovery, Trick ‘r Treat from Legacy Entertainment, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) from Netflix and Legendary Entertainment, come to life.

RWS Global brought “Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares” to Rockefeller Center in collaboration with NBCUniversal. With sinister characters and terrifying surprises around every corner, the ten spine-tingling rooms of the haunted maze experience make Jimmy’s darkest nightmares come true.

Outside of the US, RWS Global collaborated with Parque Warner Madrid to create two frightful haunts inspired by beloved pop culture icons. “La Monja,” also known as “The Nun,” was an interactive experience that immersed Spanish horror fans in The Conjuring and allowed them to participate in some of the most horrifying scenes in the movie.

Approximately 2,500 scare actors and performers were cast by RWS Global this year for live performances at six Six Flags parks, “Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares,” Hersheypark Halloween, Story Land Halloween, Idelwild Hallowboo, and Legoland Brick-or-Treat.

RWS Global works with the world’s leading brands year-round to build meaningful relationships and personalised experiences, including creative content, corporate events, cruise ship and theme park performances, and theatrical productions. The company is actively developing haunt experiences for 2025.

Earlier this year, RWS Global announced that Ryan Fitzgerald had joined the firm as executive vice president of Sea Production. Fitzgerald is an established cruise entertainment specialist with over two decades of experience and is set to support RWS Global’s cruise entertainment division in its ongoing worldwide growth.
