Howl-O-Scream is available for 28 nights of “fully immersive fear”.

SeaWorld Orlando has announced the full lineup of haunted houses, scare zones, shows, bars and roaming haunts for this year’s Howl-O-Scream.

Following a successful inaugural event in 2021, the park’s second Howl-O-Scream is starting on 9 September and available for 28 nights of “fully immersive fear” through 31 October.

This year will be bigger than ever, with more “pulse-pounding, sweat-inducing haunts, thrills, and chills”. Guests will “evade angry haunts as they rampage through scare zones” and “seek shelter indoors, only to find you’ve entered a house of horrors”.

“Deepen the thrill with a nighttime coaster ride,” says SeaWorld. “Quench your thirst for fear at a fiendishly interactive bar. Feel the monstrous electricity of a live show.”

Haunted houses

Siren of the Seas, a new haunted house, was supposed to be “a peaceful pleasure cruise”. But “there’s nothing on the itinerary but terror”.

Another new haunted house is Blood Beckoning, while Dead Vines – Root of all Evil has been reimagined, offering a “terrifying realm of ravenous plants and hidden horrors”.

“One man’s treasure is another man’s terror” in Captain’s Revenge – Drowned in Darkness, and guests will attempt to find survivors and wish they hadn’t at Beneath the Ice.

Scare zones and shows

SeaWorld Orlando’s new scare zones for this year are Sea of Fear, Cargo Carnage and Terrors of the Deep. These join Cut Throat Cove, Frozen Terror – Alive in the Ice, Deadly Ambush, and Witchcraft Bayou.

Spine-chilling shows include Lurking in the Depths: An Adventurer’s Tale, Siren’s Song, and Monster Stomp. This “pulse-pounding musical performance” stars unidentified serial killer Jack the Ripper.

Bars and roaming haunts

Allura’s on the Rocks is a new bar experience for 2022, and guests will hear tales of mythical monsters at Longshoremen Tavern. Additional drinking establishments are Poison Grotto, Tormented, and Sirens’ Last Call.

Finally, this year’s roaming haunts are The Sirens, Siren Minions and Camo.
