Halloween Horror Nights is back for its 31st year for a record-breaking 43 nights.

Universal Orlando has unveiled the full lineup of horrifying haunted houses, sinister scare zones and spine-chilling shows for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.

Running from 2 September through 31 October, Halloween Horror Nights is back for its 31st year for a record-breaking 43 nights.

The formidable event will feature “vengeance-seeking pumpkins and witches”, as well as “twisted trick-or-treaters and grotesque bugs to prey upon guests”.

Previously announced haunted houses are ‘The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare’, ‘Halloween’, ‘Universal Monsters: Legends Collide’, and ‘The Horrors of Blumhouse’.

New original haunted houses

Joining these are six new original haunted houses, including an “unsettling 1920s speakeasy” called ‘Spirits of the Coven’ and a “skin-crawling infestation” in ‘Bugs: Eaten Alive’.

Guests may also become prey to a “no-longer mythical, fanged creature” in ‘Fiesta de Chupacabras’ and will attempt to survive the “horrifying monsters serving time” during ‘Hellblock Horror’.

Thrill-seekers find themselves in a “petrifying winter thunderstorm” in ‘Dead Man’s Pier: Winter’s Wake’, and will meet “bloodthirsty mutants” during ‘Descendants of Destruction’.

Scare zones and new shows

At the scare zones, visitors will encounter ‘The Pumpkin Lord’ in ‘Horrors of Halloween’, have their souls harvested in ‘Scarecrow: Cursed Soil’, and escape an evil sorceress in ‘Conjure the Dark’.

They will also experience a horrifying 1950s Halloween parade during ‘Sweet Revenge’, and make their way through a thunderstorm within a creepy cemetery in ‘Graveyard: Deadly Unrest’.

Universal Orlando’s new shows for the spooky season are ‘Halloween Nightmare Fuel Wildfire’ and ‘Ghoulish! A Halloween Tale’.

HHN Tribute Store

In addition, the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store will be selling the latest exclusive eerie merchandise and terrifying treats.

Shoppers will be immersed in a pumpkin patch, cemetery and witch’s cottage before enjoying the final room, an elaborate Halloween festival set in the same town as ‘Sweet Revenge’.
