Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida will boast horrifying haunted houses and blood-curdling creatures.

Universal Orlando Resort has announced that this year’s Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) will run for a record-breaking 43 nights from September 2 through October 31.

Halloween Horror Nights 2022 at Universal Studios Florida will feature horrifying haunted houses and blood-curdling creatures. Tickets to the event are now on sale.

“Halloween Horror Nights is the pinnacle of immersive Halloween entertainment and has transformed fall travel into a ‘must do’ for people around the globe,” Universal Orlando said.

There will be 10 new, movie-quality haunted houses “inspired by everything from cinematic greats to unfathomable original abominations”, the resort added.

Five scare zones will be brimming “with hordes of gruesome creatures lunging from the shadows” and two “outrageous” live shows will “showcase compelling performances”.

Additionally, frightening F&B and menacing merchandise will be on offer at themed locations across Universal Orlando.

Last year’s F&B was inspired by Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House, 1974 slasher film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Universal Pictures’ 1935 movie The Bride of Frankenstein.

Single-night tickets to Halloween Horror Nights are available now. HHN upgrades are also available. These include the nighttime ‘R.I.P Tour’ experience, which offers priority V.I.P access to the haunted houses.

The ‘Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour’ is a daytime tour that reveals how the scares are brought to life at select haunted houses.

Elsewhere, Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) celebrated Halloween 2021 with the first-ever Halloween Horror Nights Exhibition.

More details about this year’s HHN at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood will be revealed soon.
