Semnox Solutions, a provider of technology for the entertainment and amusement industry, is now providing its products to 15 new clients in the UK. This includes popular locations such as M&Ds Scotland Theme Park and Codonas.

Following the pandemic, there has been an increased demand for touchless, cashless and contactless operations. In the wake of COVID-19, operators have needed to respond to guest expectations, providing a safe and secure environment with minimum contact points for visitors.

Contactless services

Semnox Solutions provides a range of contactless services such as online e-commerce websites, customer mobile app solutions, ticketing kiosks, redemption kiosks and more. Over the last two years, its customers have seen a rise of between 30 and 40% in online and app-based sales. In fact, the majority of locations report that around 60 – 75% of their sales revenue is driven by online channels.

Thanks to Semnox’s products, operators can benefit from one integrated platform for general ticketing and advance booking, new card purchases and top-ups, capacity management, events and third-party bookings and more.

To date, the company has over 2000 installations around the globe. It also has a partnership with TheExperienceTicket.com, meaning that its clients can offer queue-free solutions to visitors.

“We have been seeing an increasing demand in businesses looking at online sales platforms like websites and mobile apps to support their physical ticket sales,” says Ashish KS, Group Client Manager, Semnox Solutions.

“The growth was expected but the pandemic has pushed the increase in demand by at least 20-30% beyond the industry expectation. This is great news for us as our web and mobile platforms are completely integrated and robust, with great feedback from across the globe.”

Earlier this month, Semnox Solutions also announced a new partnership with Redeam, an independent global connectivity stack with digitized channel management and contactless voucher redemption/reconciliation solutions for the Things To Do sector.
