TEA webinar theme park and museum index 2021

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), a non-profit representing compelling places and experiences worldwide, has announced a new members-only webinar that will take a closer look at the 2021 Theme Index & Museum Index, presented by the TEA and AECOM.

The eagerly anticipated TEA/AECOM 2021 Theme Index and Museum Index: The Global Attractions report will be released soon, and TEA Members can enjoy a value-added benefit with a 60-minute members-only webinar. This will take place on Wednesday 19 October at 4 pm Pacific Daylight Time (Thursday, October 20, 7:00 am Hong Kong).

During this exclusive webinar, attendees will be able to enjoy a discussion and look into the attendance and trends affecting the global-themed entertainment and museum industries. This will be followed by a TEA Member Q&A with the session’s panellists.

The webinar will be hosted by Lindsey K. Nelson, CAE, TEA executive director, with Brian Sands, AICP, ICAE, innovation sector manager, HKS and TEA International Board Member taking on the role of moderator.

The presenters will be Beth Chang, executive director, AECOM Economics, Asia Pacific; Linda Cheu, vice president, AECOM Economics + Advisory, Americas; Jodie Lock, associate director, AECOM Economic Development, EMEA; Francisco Refuerzo, senior analyst, AECOM Economics + Advisory, Americas and John Robinett, senior vice president, AECOM Economics + Advisory, Americas.

Member-only benefit will be available both live and on-demand

The session will also be recorded, for the convenience of TEA members around the world. Members who register for this event will receive the recording after the live event. All members will have the opportunity to submit questions in to the panellists ahead of the webinar, so their questions can be addressed by the panel, even if they cannot attend in real time.

“We are really happy to offer a TEA Member Exclusive associated with this study,” says Nelson. “This report is made available to the public free of charge every year, but TEA wanted to make sure its members received additional access to the research as a value-added benefit of being a TEA Member.”

Last month, the TEA announced the 2022 TEA Masters. These individuals, who have been selected as masters of their craft in the attractions industry, will be celebrated at the association’s upcoming SATE event in Las Vegas.
