The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), a non-profit representing compelling places and experiences worldwide, has shared more details of sessions at the upcoming TEA INSPIRE conference. This networking and educational event is taking place 14 – 15 March 2024, in Hollywood, US.
The conference is accompanied by the TEA INSPIRE Leadership Forum, which is taking place from 13 to 14 March, and the annual Thea Awards Gala on 16 March, in what promises to be an unforgettable week of events for the themed entertainment industry.
New experiences
TEA INSPIRE offers attendees a fully immersive networking and educational experience which champions excellence in themed entertainment throughout the world.
This event welcomes themed entertainment professionals of all levels and disciplines, from emerging talent to renowned senior executives. The 2024 event builds on its previous focus on case studies – and this year will delve deeper.
In addition, the 2024 conference will feature two new add-on events, Pop-Up Production Sessions and INSPIRE the Night, which are taking place on 14 March.
The Pop-Up Production Sessions are tailored to the needs of mid-career professionals and practitioners who wish to elevate their INSPIRE case study learnings. The half-day session offers inspiring presentations from Thea Award-winning project teams and collaborative learning opportunities which the Association says will “uncover new possibilities and drive conversation into new territories.”
INSPIRE the Night offers exclusive access to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Lower Lot, which features Super Nintendo World. Attendees will be able to enjoy the rides and attractions, restaurants, venues, and bars. The event will also include a 45-minute panel discussion with the principal creatives, vendors, and suppliers that helped create Universal Studios Hollywood’s best-known attractions.

Excellence in themed entertainment
The week’s events will open with the TEA INSPIRE Leadership Forum, from 13 to 14 March, addressing the vital issues and trends which owners and executives deal with every day. The forum will open with a Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening, followed by a half-day programme of presentations and roundtables.
Attendees will benefit from three 20-minute talks by well-known business leaders on subjects like contract negotiations, succession planning, and culture. They will then take part in small group discussions that provide opportunities for peer-to-peer driven thought leadership and information exchange.
The glittering Thea Awards Gala on 16 March will conclude TEA’s programme of events. This year’s annual Thea Awards Gala will recognise the 30th Annual Thea Award Recipients with a black-tie dinner and awards ceremony.
