Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has announced that its new interactive media-based dark ride, Hyper Ride, was recognised in the Best New Product, Major/Ride Attraction category. This is an innovative, action-packed attraction that is ideal for venues with a small footprint. Meanwhile, the company also won a Brass Ring Award (2nd place) for Best Exhibit during the show.
A dynamic experience with a library of interactive content, Hyper Ride is a good choice for local amusement parks, FECs shopping malls and other facilities looking for a smaller, more accessible dark ride.
Hard work and creativity recognised
“Our first Brass Ring Award was in 2013. For Triotech this is an amazing recognition for the hard work and creativity of our dedicated team”, says Ernest Yale, President and CEO of Triotech.
“We aim to create attractions that are unique and fun for guests while providing a sound investment for operators. Hyper Ride hits the mark in that regard.”
Operators with smaller budgets and compact footprints can find an attractive anchor attraction in Hyper Ride, which delivers the same quality content as Triotech’s full range of theatre products. Currently, the company is working on titles that will form a full library of content for Hyper Ride. This will help contribute to a strong ROI.
During IAAPA Expo this week, Triotech also revealed that Hyper Ride will be used for a new attraction at the iconic Niagara Falls in Canada. Carnival Chaos Hyper Ride will feature seven interactive scenes with five ride carts and is set to open next summer at Clifton Hill.
Recently, the company announced that its European Division has won a European Star Award for the Underlandet attraction at Liseberg in Sweden. Earlier this year, Triotech also spoke to blooloop about a project with Knott’s Berry Farm to reimagine the park’s beloved Knott’s Bear-y Tales ride for its centenary.
