CL Corp. designed the preshow and the Dynamic Explorer attraction for the ride at the Swedish park

Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has announced that its European Division, CL Corp., has won a European Star Award for the Underlandet attraction at Liseberg in Sweden. It picked up the award in the Europe’s Best New Rides 2021 category, alongside Gosetto and P&P Projects.

For this ride, CL Corp. designed the preshow, including the Dynamic Explorer attraction, where guests are taken on an immersive journey underground to meet Liseberg’s rabbits.

An immersive preshow for Underlandet

“We are very pleased to have participated in this family attraction. The preshow is important to bring visitors into the universe of the ride” says Deborah Attal, managing director, theme parks Europe at Triotech – CL Corp. division. “Our ultimate goal was to create the illusion of moving down underground so that visitors are 100% immersed in the story from the first second in the experience. With this award, I think we can say that we met our goal!”

Dynamic Explorer is the only motion cabin offering a fully customisable trip with 360° immersion. Extra features can be added, such as false short circuits and automatic ceiling hatches dropping, as well as special effects.

Both Triotech and CL Corp. are exhibiting at IAAPA Expo Europe in Barcelona this week, where they can be found at booth #2-941.

Earlier this month, Triotech also announced the installation of a new 60-seat XD Theatre at Happy Valley Tianjin, China. The company has a longstanding relationship with the theme park operator, OCT, this being the 9th Triotech XD Theatre to be installed at a Happy Valley location. Triotech has brought over 50 attractions to China in recent years, covering zoos and theme parks as well as stand-alone attractions.

Last month, the company also launched a new movie for its popular VR interactive coin-op simulator, Storm, called Sugary Slope.
