Universal Orlando has announced the names and opening dates of two of the hotels set to debut next to the new Epic Universe theme park.

The first hotel, Universal Stella Nova Resort, is opening on 21 January 2025. This will be followed by Universal Terra Luna Resort, which launches on 25 February 2025.

Both new hotels are co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels. Each hotel will have 750 guest rooms. They are both located adjacent to Epic Universe, which will open later in 2025.

The Stella Nova Resort is inspired by the “infinite vastness of the unknown universe”, says the Universal Orlando website. It will offer various F&B options, a huge spa pool, an interactive splash pad and lake views.

The Terra Luna Resort, Universal Orlando says, is inspired by “the thrill of exploring the unknown, pushing the limits of discovery and stepping into new landscapes”.

Universal Orlando‘s current theme parks and Universal CityWalk will be accessible from the new hotels via free shuttles.

As above, Universal Orlando’s fourth gate, Epic Universe, is due to open in 2025. It is located on 750 acres of land and is tipped to include rides and attractions based on Harry Potter and Universal’s classic monsters.

Mark Woodbury, CEO of Universal Destinations & Experiences, recently said Epic Universe is the “most technologically advanced park we’ve ever done”.

The new park will have four themed lands based on “powerful, trip-driving intellectual property”, including the largest Super Nintendo World at a Universal destination, Woodbury said.

Earlier this week, Universal Destinations & Experiences announced the name of its first-ever family theme park in Frisco, Texas – Universal Kids Resort.

The attraction will include a a 300-room themed hotel and a theme park featuring lands inspired by Universal’s iconic brands, characters and stories.
