Guests will meet the Red-Faced Demon and KeyFace

This year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando will include a new Insidious haunted house.

The attraction, named ‘Insidious: The Further’, is inspired by the Insidious film franchise and will transport guests into a paranormal dimension of tortured souls and demonic entities.

From Blumhouse Productions in association with Sony Pictures, Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2 tell the story of the Lambert family as they are haunted by supernatural forces.

In the new Halloween Horror Nights experience, guests will follow in the footsteps of the Lamberts and see familiar locations from the films, including ‘the Further’, the petrifying place where ghosts and demons can be found.

Fans of the franchise will meet the Red-Faced Demon, who will try to lure them into his lair. They will also encounter KeyFace from Insidious: The Last Key, as well as the Bride in Black and the spirit of the Man Who Can’t Breathe.

“As guests make their way through the haunted house, they’ll go from red door to red door – traveling deeper into a dark and timeless astral world where they must evade this collection of sinister creatures at every spine-chilling turn, or their souls will be trapped here… forever,” Universal said in a press release.

Immersive horror experiences

Paramount Pictures’ A Quiet Place is also featuring at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights in Florida and California.

In this new haunted house, guests will need to stay silent as they explore a post-apocalyptic world based on A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II.

In more news, Universal is creating a year-round horror attraction inspired by Halloween Horror Nights for Area15 in Las Vegas. The new location is Universal’s first permanent horror experience outside of its parks.

Halloween Horror Nights begins on 30 August at Universal Orlando, and on 5 September at Universal Studios Hollywood.
