Universal Horror Unleashed, the new year-round eerie experience opening at Area15 in Las Vegas, has unveiled its Universal Monsters haunted house.
In the Universal Monsters attraction, guests will get to explore the crumbling mausoleum of monster hunter Van Helsing and the shadowy halls of Dracula’s castle.
They will also see the sandy tombs guarded by The Mummy, and the lab where Frankenstein’s monster and his bride still reside.
In addition to the Universal Monsters haunted house, Universal Horror Unleashed has shared a look at the Dead Storage themed area and The Boiler â an immersive cocktail bar where the machinery isn’t the only thing alive”.
Dead Storage is inspired by “the grandiosity of Universal’s earliest horror productions”, Universal said in a press release.
Guests will discover a shadowy space filled with forgotten set pieces and eerie relics that have been reclaimed by vampires and a werewolf in the middle of its transformation.

The Boiler bar, meanwhile, is described as a “mechanical beast pulsing with heat and menace” where guests can enjoy craft cocktails and take a break.
As well as Universal Monsters, haunted houses at Universal Horror Unleashed are themed to The Exorcist: Believer (2023), an original story called Scarecrow: The Reaping, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974).
In an interview with blooloop, Universal Orlandoâs Lora Sauls said: âItâs going to be an amazing experience, we love that Halloween Horror Nights is now its own IP and has grown beyond even just the parks.â

Universal’s first-ever permanent horror experience opens in Las Vegas on 14 August as part of Area15âs 20-acre expansion.
Last month, Area15 topped out the buildings in its new development, which will also include the Museum of Ice Creamâs largest flagship venue and Interstellar Arc by Felix & Paul Studios.
