Korean horror series inspires new haunted house for Halloween 2023

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Singapore will include a new experience inspired by Netflix’s hit zombie series All of Us Are Dead.

The theme park at Resorts World Sentosa has teamed up with the streaming giant to bring the Korean horror series to life this Halloween in a new haunted house.

This is Universal Studios Singapore’s second collaboration with Netflix, after a Stranger Things-themed haunted house in 2018.

Visitors this year will fight for their lives amid a zombie outbreak in Hyosan High School. Iconic scenes from All of Us Are Dead will be recreated, from “the horrifying discovery in the medical bay, to the nail-biting classroom fight and the harrowing escape from the library”.

“The All of Us Are Dead experience marks the world’s first horror attraction inspired by the series and the first time that we are bringing an attraction based on a Korean series to Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights,” said Markham Gannon, director of resort experience at Resorts World Sentosa.

“We are thrilled to create this one-of-a-kind horror experience for our guests based on a show beloved by global fans and take them on a journey of both physical and psychological thrill.”

Elsewhere, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando are adding a new haunted house based on The Last of Us to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.

Visitors will follow in the footsteps of the video game‘s protagonists, Joel and Ellie, as they navigate a world overtaken by a fungal virus that turns humans into ‘the infected’.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Singapore takes place on 18 nights from 29 September until 4 November.

Halloween Horror Nights arrives at Universal Studios Hollywood on 7 September, and at Universal Orlando on 1 September. Both events will run on select nights through 31 October.
