Walt Disney World Resort has unveiled its entertainment experiences, festive treats, and special merchandise for Christmas 2020, which runs through December 30.
Christmas has officially started at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney Springs in Florida.
Magic Kingdom Park features festive cavalcades with floats and music, including ‘Mickey’s Holiday Cavalcade’, ‘Goofy’s Scrumptious Cavalcade’, and ‘A Royal Christmas Processional’.
Holiday treats include ‘Chip ‘n’ Dale Christmas Churros’, ‘Pistachio Chai Tea Float’ and ‘An Orange Bird Christmas’, while projection effects transform Cinderella Castle.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Cavalcades include ‘Donald’s Dino Bash’ at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which also features the Discovery Island Drummers.
As of December 1, Animal Kingdom will boast special holiday-themed food, such as ‘White Chocolate Peppermint Cream Cheese Mousse’ and ‘Pumpkin Ice Cream Sandwich’.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios includes ‘For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration’, as well as Minnie Mouse’s yuletide dining experience at Hollywood & Vine.
Seasonal F&B includes ‘Mickey’s Holiday Cookie’, ‘Holiday Whoopie Pie’, and ‘Olaf’s Snow Flurry’. After dark, the Hollywood Tower Hotel becomes the Hollywood Holiday Tower Hotel.
In addition, Disney is holding the ‘Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays’, beginning on November 27.
Holiday kitchens located throughout World Showcase will offer magical treats and characters, including Anna and Elsa in the ‘Frozen Holiday Promenade’.
Additional festive experiences at Epcot include ‘Mickey and Friends Holiday World Tour’ and a scavenger hunt called ‘Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition’.
Disney Springs is offering the ‘Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll’, as well as seasonal treats including ‘Holiday Mickey Mousse’ and ‘Mickey Santa Pinata’.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar becomes Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar, while outdoor DJs play holiday music amid stilt-walking toy soldiers and snowfalls.
Disney’s resort hotels have decked their halls with festive flourishes and Christmas trees, and holiday-themed merchandise is available throughout Walt Disney World.
