Guests will be able to enjoy interactive experiences through Magic Bracelets

Yonoton, a leader in omnichannel digital ordering and payment services for the hospitality and entertainment sector, has announced that it has strengthened its partnership with the popular Moominworld theme park in Finland. The company will be adding new features to enhance the guest mobile experience.

The park’s digital guest solutions are built around the Powered by Yonoton platform, which enables mobile payments for food and drink, as well as entrance and game tickets. It also means that the operator can choose not to use printed materials. Now, Moominworld will be using the platform to bring in Magic Bracelets that trigger interactive experiences around the venue.

“We want to give our customers new experiences and services through digitalization,” says Ann-Karin Koskinen, Marketing Director for Moominworld. “We want to develop new features like the Magic Bracelet and develop the customer experience to create special, memorable moments.

“Our main goal is to make a full family experience for our guests by making the visit safe, fun and easy.”

The Yonoton platform provides simple, frictionless solutions for both ticketing and payment, in order to keep access to attractions safe and easy.

Guests at Moominworld will be able to use the new Magic Wristbands to make payments on-site, as well as to access loyalty programmes and interactive experiences, using NFC technology. Through this new feature, a day out at the park will become cashless for a safer and more hygienic visit.

Recently, Yonoton also announced its cooperation with a leading global supplier of touchscreen solutions, Elo. Together, the companies will work to simplify the management of point-of-sale (POS) and point-of-purchase (POP) deployments in the hospitality and leisure industry.

Yonoton has worked with Norway’s largest theme park, Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park, on the introduction of POS and self-service solutions, a new virtual queuing solution and NFC wristband payments.
