The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) will include TIFF: The Market, a new seven-day marketplace designed to foster global partnerships, accelerate commercial ambitions, and showcase the innovations transforming the future of entertainment.
Aimed at connecting international buyers, sales agents, creators, platforms, and technologists, TIFF: The Market serves as a global hub for the screen and tech sectors. TIFF projects that the marketplace will attract 12,000 registered delegates by 2030.
Centred around the theme of powering the future of storytelling, TIFF: The Market has now shared new details about its Innovation Hub, sponsored by the Canada Media Fund.
This curated selection of immersive projects includes World, North American, and Canadian premieres from countries such as Canada, France, Denmark, the US, Germany, Belgium, Taiwan, Greenland, and the Netherlands. It highlights the Market’s position as a global platform for pioneering technology that shapes the future of screen entertainment.

Immersive project debuts
The first cohort includes:

“TIFF’s 51-year legacy is rooted in transformational experiences that influence the way audiences see themselves and the world. The Innovation Hub is an expansion of this commitment, and an acknowledgment of the immersive format as a growing creative force,” says Geoff Macnaughton, VP of market programming & theatrical.

Alongside the Hub, delegates will have access to a programme of innovation-focused activities, including Speakers' Summit Talks featuring Hub Project creators sharing insights into their inspiration and process, and panels exploring the value of scaling intellectual property across multiple media.
Located at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from 10 - 16 September, the Innovation Hub will be accessible to registered delegates throughout the seven-day Market.
