The kids may be heading back to school, but the sounds of summer are still going strong at Hersheypark, where the Hersheypark Summer Concert Series will continue during weekends in September.
The 28th Annual Colgate Country Showdown will make a stop at the Amphitheatre on Sunday, September 6. The nation’s largest and longest-running country music talent search, The Colgate Country Showdown has launched many well-known country superstars, including Garth Brooks, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sara Evans, Martina McBride and Brad Paisley.
Hersheypark also will highlight some of the stellar talent from right here in central Pennsylvania. Some of the area’s best local bands – including Class Act featuring Rita on September 12, The Rain Dogs on September 13, Nightwind on September 19, Fabulous Greaseband on September 20 and Just Friends on September 26 – will entertain fans of all ages.
