Freestyle Park is a unique US$620 million entertainment, sport and leisure destination to be located southwest of the Moscow City Center. The 280, 000 square meter park is expected to attract 5 million visits annually, and will offer an incredible combination of diverse activities and experiences for guests of all ages. Activities will include a Snow Zone, Aqua Park, Entertainment Center, Centre of Entertaining Science and a Multi-screen Cineplex. In addition, Freestyle Park will offer a luxury spa, hotel, retail and dining, and residential apartments.
Snow Zone, one of the anchor activities, is a 39, 000 square meter facility that will include the longest indoor ski slope in the world. At 900 meters long, the indoor slope will offer three skiing experiences with varying levels of difficulty, a snowboard slope, and training slopes for instructional purposes. A children’s snow area will be included as part of the mix, which will house a snow play park with various snow sledding, tubing runs and ice-skating. Acer Snowmec, a leading producer of snowmaking technology based in the United Kingdom, will be providing snowmaking capability to the Snow Zone.
The Aqua Park, a second anchor activity, is a 9, 000 square meter indoor water park located next to the Snow Zone. Activities for guests to enjoy year-round include a surf pool, lazy river, tubing rides, wave pool, plunge slides, a two person surf simulator and a children’s play area.
More than 30, 000 square meters will house additional leisure activities. A 9, 000 square meter entertainment center will include a 20-lane bowling center, arcade, as well as video and interactive games; the 5, 300 square meter Centre for Entertaining Science will present scientific and natural phenomena in an interactive setting that will engage, intrigue and entertain minds of all ages; a nine screen multiplex cinema will provide the latest in surround sound and big screen technology; over 14, 000 square meters of retail shopping with international and specialty boutique brands will be offered; and, finally, there will be more than 5, 300 square meters of restaurants, clubs and bars, and a 1, 700 square meter luxury spa, sauna and wellness center to revitalize the mind, body and soul.
Overnight guests can “Stay in Style” at Freestyle Park’s 300-room premium 4-star hotel located adjacent to the Snow Zone. Or, guests can upgrade their “Life Style” by purchasing one of 200 luxury apartments at Park Club. Residents of Park Club are automatically granted VIP Park Club access to all amenities offered at FreeStyle Park.
