Costumes and mascots: Rainbow Productions expands work with Dutch attractions

News

UK mascot and licensed cartoon character company, Rainbow Productions recently exhibited at the Euro Attractions Show (EAS) at the Amsterdam RAI, which took place from September 30th until October 2nd 2009.

As well as Rainbow Productions securing new deals with attractions in The Netherlands, during the Show representatives also met with existing Dutch leisure clients.

Projects in 2009 seeing the promotional costume character company working with Dutch attractions include examples such as the creation of Wally the Walrus [see right] for the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk.  In addition to guests at the Dolfinarium marine park being able to watch dolphins, sea lions and walruses in action, Rainbow Productions was asked to create Wally the Walrus for use in stage shows to appeal to and entertain the attraction’s family audiences.

2009 also saw costume characters created for Moos Studioos in Katwijk.  Characters were made for use in the children’s TV show, with further costume characters brought to life to feature in a stage show which toured venues in The Netherlands.

Leisure client First Choice, Nederland also commissioned Rainbow Productions to create a number of sets of their Kiki and Ko rabbit icons.
