Hill International awarded $2.2 million project management contract
Hill International, the global leader in managing construction risk, has been appointed as Project Manager for the Al Samawah Olympic Stadium.
The new Al Samawah Stadium is an Olympic-sized, 20, 000 seat stadium, designed to comply with FIFA standards. Total construction costs for the stadium are estimated at approximately $61.0 million (IQD 70.9 billion).
The $2.2 million (IQD 2.6 billion), 28-month project management contract has been awarded by Iraq’s Ministry of Youth and Sports to Hill, who will provide design review and construction management services.
This is Hill’s third sports stadium construction management project in Iraq.
