Holiday World Announces Two New Directors

Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari President Will Koch announces the appointment of two new directors to the parks’ staff. 

As Director of Maintenance, Tony Perkins oversees a fulltime maintenance staff of 22 technicians, who maintain the parks’ rides and equipment. Perkins is a graduate of Washington (Ind.) High School and ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis. He and his wife, Rebecca, live in Lamar; they have three children and four grandchildren.
 
As Director of Food & Beverage, Jason Martin supervises the hiring and training of his 550-member seasonal staff, who operate the parks’ 17 food outlets. Martin also oversees food-safety and preparation practices, plus menu selection. A graduate of Tell City High School and University of Southern Indiana, Martin joined the Holiday World staff 13 years ago as a foods manager; for the past six years he served as Human Resources Manager. Martin lives in Tell City.
 
Holiday World opens for the season on May 2 with the premiere of Pilgrims Plunge, the world’s tallest water ride. Splashin’ Safari’s opening day is May 15. For more information, visit the parks’ website at HolidayWorld.com or call 1-877-463-2645.
