IALEI Announces 2009 Golden Token Award Winners

Outstanding family entertainment facilities, suppliers and manufacturers exist throughout the world, but only a few get recognized annually as IALEI’s Golden Token Award winners. 

Applicants submitted entries in ten categories including: Best Marketing Campaign or Promotion, Best New or Renovated FEC, Best Creative Party Package, Best Web Site, Best Community Service Award, Best Display of Redemption, Best New Product or Facility Element, Best New Redemption or Novelty Product, Best Customer Service & Support, Best Operator of the Year and FEC Manager of the Year. There are also three supplier awards including: Best New Product or Facility Element, Best New Redemption or Novelty Product and Best Customer Support/Service. In addition to the general categories and the supplier awards, the Best of Show awards were judged on-site for Best Small Exhibit (1-3 booths) and Best Large Exhibit (4 or more booths). The winners are as follows:

Best Marketing Campaign or Promotion (under $2 million in sales): Tri-Cities Fun Expedition

Best Marketing Campaign or Promotion (over $2 million in sales): Fun Factory, Inc.

Best New or Renovated FEC (construction cost under $1 million): Kokomo’s Family Fun Park

Best New or Renovated FEC (construction cost over $1 million): Funopolis Family Fun Park

Best Creative Party Package (Birthday Party): Unbelieva-Bills

Best Web Site: Wilsonville Family Fun Center

Best Display of Redemption: Wilsonville Family Fun Center

FEC Manager of the Year Award: Michele Stambaugh, Mountasia Family Fun Center

FEC Operator of the Year Award: Candy Cross & Patti Garrand, TreePaad

Best Community Service Project: Mountasia Family Fun Center

Supplier Awards

Best New Product or Facility Element: Custom Creations, Dungeon Dare

Best New Redemption or Novelty Product: Redemption Plus, Tye Dye & Princess Temporary Tattoos

Best Customer Support/Service: Redemption Plus

Best of Show Awards
Best Small Exhibit (1-3 booths): Characters Unlimited, Inc.

Best Large Exhibit (4 or more booths): Fun Express
