Come and See our New Signature Ride : King Cobra

King Cobra is a gorgeous waterslide that offers one of the most "intense" riding experiences of the industry while proving itself as the number one attraction in terms of visual impact and spectator appeal. It creates a truly different experience both for the riders and for the spectators. With its unique design configuration, fiberglass theming, coloring and its unique riding path, it will surely be the most attractive attraction in your park.

The core feature of the patent pending King Cobra is its unique configuration that enables two 2 people tubes racing through a circular path with twists, turns, surprises and experiencing the drop of their lives still racing and entering into the valley part together at the same time with a heart pounding influence.

Riding experience of King Cobra starts with two specially designed double tubes on two slides side by side and King Cobra enables circular racing throughout the journey with turns, twists and surprises while passing through enclosed and open parts of the ride. Before reaching to the very heart pounding part, riders are in the enclosed part of the ride, fully dark and suddenly and very unexpectedly, they come to the end. They see a whole "blank". While thinking that this is the end, they drop down with an angle of 50 degrees. They plunge 8 meters (25 feet) down, accelerating to speed of 51 km/h.

This will surely be the thrill of the riders' lives. Two double tubes with two riders on each are now in the same slide, dropping down at the same time. The excitement of an unexpected drop and the fear of crashing is a breathtaking experience for the riders. Expertly designed configuration and colored part of the slide creates an illusion that makes the riders feel that they will be crashing each other in a second since the two double tubes with 4 riders are now in the same sliding area. This is unique in the industry. 2 double tubes leaving two slides side by side end into the same sliding surface.

It does not end. The two double tubes are now heading into the mouth of Cobra. Unique fog, high-pitched hiss, water spraying, visual effects make it more exciting than ever while the spectators below think you are just "swallowed" in the mouth of the Cobra. Then powerful G-forces take over your tube and riders come back down and then oscillate up and down again as the tubes stop on down the waterslide. You come to the end of this unique riding experience and we are sure the first thing you will do as you exit King Cobra is to get in line for another turn.

What will we Expose?

We will be exposing our new, stunning ride, namely KING COBRA and RTM innovations in the sector of waterparks. Additionally, we will expose "4D Waterpark Cinema Systems" with Kraftwerk Living Technologies, Austria and "Artificial Surf Systems" with American Wave Machines, Inc, USA too.

1. We will be displaying the model of "King Cobra", our new worldwide patent pending thrill waterslide at the show floor together with a simulation video. King Cobra offers "one of the most intense riding experiences while proving itself as the number one attraction in terms of visual impact and spectator appeal. The ride's unique design configuration features fibreglass theming, colouring and an unusual ride path. The core feature of King Cobra is that it enables riders in two double tubes racing through a circular path with twists, turns and experiencing the drop of their lives still racing and entering into the valley part together at the same time with a heart pounding influence.

2. We will also demonstrate three slide components in our booth, all tunnel slides. All RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) manufactured. Polin has been a pioneer in the advancement and application of the Light RTM process in waterslide manufacturing. Since 2006, Polin has converted to Light RTM on over 90% of its annual fiberglass production. Polin offers its unique Natural Light Effect (NLE) technology and Special Pattern Effects (SPE) in RTM and Polin offers translucent waterslides again in RTM. Polin is the only waterslide manufacturer in the World that can offer bowl rides and family rides as RTM manufactured. Bowl rides and family rafting slides are comparibly large waterslide components and applying RTM in the production of such big scale products require higher expertise and knowledge and know-how in RTM composites manufacturing.

We will be displaying:

a. RTM Manufactured Slide Component with Polin' s unique Natural Light Effects System applied.

b. RTM Manufactured Slide Component with Polin's unique Special Pattern Effects applied.

c. Translucent RTM Slide Component which is the latest innovation in waterslide manufacturing.

Being able to offer "Translucent L-RTM Waterslides" is worth mentioning too since this represents the peak point of the current fiberglass composites manufacturing. Polin is offering translucent RTM waterslides since 2007. Translucent RTM waterslides have an enriched visual impact through glassy, shiny finish on both sides, spectacular appeal and an elegant transparency.

Closed molded fabrication through RTM offers a number of advantages. That is why we want to focus on RTM slide components at the show and let our visitors touch, see and listen to the advantages of these waterslides.

We and eventually our clients obtain products with shining/smooth internal and external surfaces. Therefore the slides are aesthetically far superior than the ones obtained from open moulded processes.

The raw material used in RTM products, that are multiaxial fibres (multiaxial mat), are far more strong than those (chopped strand mat and roving)used in Hand Lay Up and Spray Up methods.

The waterslides by RTM manufacturing is stronger and lighter.

Compared to the open moulded processes, we are able to obtain far more homogeneous thickness distribution.

RTM production offers important environmental advantages. It offers a cleaner environment since the styrene emission is much lower than the other 2 methods. Plus, physical waste is much less than the conventional methods. These facts are very important for a company like Polin feeling environmental responsibility.

We obtain a visually superior product.

The brightness and smoothness of the external surface facilitate its usage. Since the surface is smooth, it doesn't get dirty quickly and is easier to wipe. Now it is much easier to keep the slides clean.
