MTE Studios appoints Bryan Avison as General Manager to spear-head Middle East operations

Dubai-based MTE Studios, a consultancy firm specializing in themed architecture and interactive exhibitions, well known for their turnkey themed projects and world-class installations in science centres and museum galleries worldwide, announce the appointment of Bryan Avison as General Manager.

Bryan, a British national and a chartered civil engineer with professional registrations in both the UK and Canada, has more than twenty-five years of experience in the management, design and construction of large scale mixed use and experience centre projects throughout the Middle East, UK and Canada. His professional experience is gained by working for multi disciplinary Canadian, British and US based consulting engineers and UAE property developers.

He will be leading a strong team of creative professionals including animatronic designers, architects, artists and researchers who will be working together to imagine, plan and achieve to create environments and exhibits that are stimulating and relevant. Bryan’s role within MTE also includes management of all technical and support staff within the Dubai office, acting as Project Director for all major projects and ensuring that MTE quality procedures are implemented on all projects.

Bryan’s engineering background makes him particularly well qualified to ensure that MTE designs are coordinated with other engineering disciplines. He earlier worked for “The Pearls of Arabia” interactive experience centre concept proposal, developed by MTE Studios for DMCC. His vast experience in interior design to architecture and engineering will help the team to grow and continue to build on their success to date.
