Rainbow Productions: Leisure attractions book children’s characters for live events in run up to Christmas

News

Leisure venues as diverse as the Chill Factore in Manchester, National Trust property Nunnington Hall in North Yorkshire and White Post Farm in Mansfield will all host live events before the end of 2011 which feature children’s characters represented under licence and managed by Rainbow Productions.

Guests to Nunnington Hall as well as Adventure Wonderland in Bournemouth will have an opportunity to meet licensed characters with a festive, winter connection.  Raymond Briggs’ The Snowman is going to the National Trust property during the weekend of December 3 and 4, while Pingu will be present in Bournemouth on December 10.

Peppa Pig remains a popular choice for many leisure attractions; events in her diary during this period include a visit to Twinlakes Park in Melton Mowbray on November 19, White Post Farm on November 26 and two separate weekends of meet and greet personal appearances on November 12 & 13 and December 1 & 2 at Manchester’s indoor real snow centre, the Chill Factore.  This centre is home to the UK’s largest indoor skiing and snowboarding slope, it offers visitors retail and dining experiences and has also arranged visits by Scooby-Doo and Peppa Pig, as part of an events programme aiming to provide added value to family visitors.
