Created Exclusively for The National World War II Museum in New Orleans, “Beyond All Boundaries” Provides Unique and Powerful 4-D Cinematic Experience

Audio by the Bay Entertainment Group (“ABTB” – https://www.audiobythebay.com/) completed the music production and sound design for a new World War II film, Beyond All Boundaries, executive produced and narrated by Tom Hanks, and featuring the voices of some of Hollywood’s top stars bringing to life the words of actual World War II participants and war correspondents.

Commissioned by the National World War II Museum in New Orleans, Beyond All Boundaries tells the tale of the Greatest Generation’s journey from Pearl Harbor, into the fire of epic battles, and to America’s final victory in the fight labeled by veterans as “the War That Changed the World”.

ABTB was hired for the film’s music production and sound design by Beyond All Boundaries producer, Phil Hettema, President of the Hettema Group, a Los Angeles-based studio that specializes in crafting immersive entertainment for Hollywood movie studios and dynamic museum exhibits.

As part of the heralded production team, ABTB partners Paul Freeman and Bob Wackerman said, “It was a professional honor to provide the music production and sound design for Beyond All Boundaries as a project with such profound significance.”

On a personal level, Paul’s father, Paul Freeman, Sr. of Yorba Linda, CA, and Bob’s father-in-law, Vernon (“Vern”) Leo Tyler of Costa Mesa, CA, were featured veterans in the film.

Beyond All Boundaries was created to be a jaw-dropping, all-encompassing film and surround-sound experience in 4-D, engaging all senses with digital effects, life-sized props, animation, and atmospherics, as well as film and sound.  Crafted with 21st-century, state-of-the-art technology, and utilizing a 120-foot screen, Beyond All Boundaries is true to history while also appealing to a broad audience — from the Greatest Generation to Gen Y — immersing viewers in the 20th century’s most titanic struggle.

Beyond All Boundaries audiences will experience the feeling of tank treads rumbling across North Africa’s deserts, of snow brushing their cheeks during the icy Battle of the Bulge, and of being fired upon by enemy anti-aircraft attempting to bring down a B-17 on a flight over Nazi Germany.

The film premiered Nov. 6, 2009 at the National World War II Museum, as part of its new special exhibit, “Experience the Victory”.  The museum is now showing Beyond All Boundaries daily for venue visitors (hourly from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).  For more information about the film and museum, go to https://www.NationalWW2museum.org/.
