Waterparks: Wasilla, Alaska Health Club Adds an SCS Waterplay Structure

News

SCS Interactive installed an interactive waterplay structure at The Alaska Club Valley in Wasilla, Alaska. The Alaska Club Valley is a health and fitness club and the installation was part of a pool expansion project, which opened on January 19th. The waterplay attraction was greeted with excitement by children and parents alike, giving them an area where they could play and interact together.

The SCS structure at The Alaska Club Valley is a HexDek D and features over ten interactives as well as a tube slide and a 3 foot tipping bucket. This new addition brings interactivity to the pool area and gives the children who come to the club more play options.

“The pool expansion was a great way for us to draw in new members to our club. By including the SCS attraction in our pool we have definitely heightened the excitement for the children who come to enjoy our facilities, ” stated Valley Club General Manager, Sam Kehler. ”The structure’s interactivity and playability keeps kids occupied for hours and they just love the tipping bucket. Having this new pool area gives the community of Wasilla an area to come and escape the cold while having fun with the whole family.”

The HexDek™ design is offered only by SCS Interactive. The handrails feature a modular interactive at the top of the handrail and have an interchangeable panel case that not only make installation easier, but also allows you the ability to refresh the structure with new interactives as often as wanted. This structure is a great addition to The Alaska Club Valley and serves as the centerpiece of the pool expansion.

“It is exciting for SCS Interactive to have one of its unique structures in The Alaska Club. This is the first structure that SCS has installed in Wasilla, Alaska and it is sure to attract crowds. Adding an SCS waterplay feature to any pool always enlivens the area, ” said Sean Barrett, director of municipal sales for SCS Interactive.
