Waterparks: WhiteWater Brings the Fun with Original Makeover

2012 has been a fantastic year for WhiteWater, not only out in the industry, but also within the company. This year, there have been a number of new, exciting initiatives including WhiteWater’s future focus as The ORIGINAL Waterpark & whitewater west waterparks new logoAttractions Company.
 
WhiteWater brings the fun as The ORIGINAL Waterpark & Attractions Company in two splashy ways; the first is just that – being first. In 1980, WhiteWater dove in feet-first; growing from a successful waterpark operation into a thriving designer and manufacturer of waterpark attractions, we’ve been making waves ever since.

But ORIGINAL is also about being seriously fun and innovative! It’s about thinking outside-the-pool; taking time to play, creating the newest, coolest attractions; not being afraid to be different and to take risks; and most of all, supplying the most memorable, WOW-that-made-my-day experiences in the world!

As part of this ORIGINAL makeover, WhiteWater has a new logo, a new slogan and a new Ambassador of Fun, called Orbie.
 
Orbie was born in 1980 as a round, plump figure, destined for greatness. For 30 years, he has played wing-man to the almighty WhiteWater logo but today, he has stepped up into a new function. Promoted from left-hand Orb to Ambassador of Fun, Orbie is the blue face of WhiteWater. 
 
Orbie is ORIGINAL. He’s young, adventurous, spirited and dynamic, but he also knows his stuff. In short… he works hard, plays hard. Orbie has a PhD. in the rare field of FunPlayology; as an agent of change, he will help WhiteWater deliver the fun as The ORIGINAL Waterpark & Attractions Company.
 
You will begin to see Orbie hitting the Waves, racing his way to the finish line of a Whizzard, dropping from an AquaLaunch and test riding WhiteWater’s latest innovations. You will also hear from him as the new voice of WhiteWater’s FUNfactor newsletter and you can also get to know him on Facebook and Twitter. He’s even looking into his own LinkedIn profile.
 
While these are some very exciting initiatives, what hasn’t changed is WhiteWater’s commitment to award-winning innovations and technologies. WhiteWater’s in-house team of industry experts are working hard to bring ORIGINAL innovations to market, including AquaCourseTM, SilkGelTM 10 Year Warranty and waterslides that offer a thrilling combination of sensations, just in time for this year’s trade show season.
