Thursday’s announcement by Busch Entertainment, the theme park division of Anheuser-Busch is expected to be about planned international expansion, possibly into China so say the analysts.
With the parent company moving heavily into the Chinese market, the theme park division, which is of course is very US centric, is set to start overseas expansion. Both Universal and Disney have significant interests in both the Middle East and South East Asia and are continuing their agressive push into fresh markets. Busch Entertainment looks set to join them. The PR described the news as "the most significant news in (their) history." Maybe we’ll be seeing SeaWorld China in the next decade?
